Decatur

A well developed city with walkable streets and nightlife moments from Atlanta.

Welcome to Decatur

Decatur is a city with small town charm moments away from Atlanta. Owing much of its development to the advent of the automobile, Decatur is accessible via a short highway drive. Right beneath the bustling downtown square, full of chef-driven dining experiences, local retail, and city amenities like public libraries and parks and yearly festivals, there is a convenient Marta station that connects the city with all of the major Atlanta attractions. The city is also served by two additional MARTA stations with ample parking for commuters.

The commercial city center spurred the development of many suburban residential communities around the downtown area. Family-friendly communities with mid-century ranch style homes built on large lots are serviced by some of the best schools in Atlanta Public Schools and are full of pocket parks and historical points of interest.
